This 100x100mm internationally recognized class MP marine pollutant hazard warning label is fully compliant with the UN ADR, RID IMDG/IMO and ICAO/IATA requirements. It’s made from durable PVC which makes it perfect for transporting dangerous substances by road, rail, air and sea.
As codified by the International Maritime Organization in its Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code) a substance is a marine pollutant if it is toxic to the aquatic environment when evaluated by the test methods given in Chapter 2.9.3 of the IMDG Code.
Environmentally hazardous substances do not represent their own class of dangerous goods, but serve as additional placard which, if the criteria for an environmentally hazardous substance apply, must be added to packaging, tanks, etc.
